Staying Covid Safe at Ingleside Hotel

The health and well-being of our guests, patrons and staff is our top priority and we look forward to welcoming you as soon as we open our doors.

We’ve been making every effort to create the safest and smoothest experience for everyone. Here’s what to expect once we open, for as long as the Covid guidelines from the government remain in place:

Wearing masks:

Our staff will wear masks when inside the building.  We ask our guests to wear masks whilst moving around the building but once in their rooms, or seated in one of our communal areas, masks are not required.

Creating safe spaces:

All of our areas have been configured for social distancing and one-way traffic wherever possible.

Managing capacity

At Ingleside Hotel we already use booking systems which allow our guests to book their visits in advance along with their contact details. That way we can support contact tracing if someone does fall ill.

Training our teams

We’ve adjusted our service processes to support distancing and enhanced cleanliness. All our teams will be receiving return-to-work briefings, taken through all new processes in detail, given daily health checks and provided with enhanced protection.

Deep cleaning

We’re deep cleaning all of our spaces overnight. This is supported by constant cleaning throughout the day, focusing on high contact surfaces, seating, tables and equipment. We’ve added cleaning and sanitation products to provide hospital grade disinfection in bedrooms between stays and you’ll find complimentary hand sanitiser and face masks in every room.

Hand sanitiser is provided throughout our spaces for all to use. We’ve also introduced a no-touch policy, so no handshakes or close proximity to persons beyond your household.

Contactless technology

We are becoming as contactless as possible – menus will be available digitally, and contactless payment will continue to be accepted. Please note that we are phasing out using cash on our premises and are unlikely to have any change for your purchases or tips – so please bear this into consideration when choosing your payment method.

We are passionate about operating our business in a safe way, and we need your support to do that. We do ask that if you, your guest or colleagues are unwell to not visit Ingleside Hotel until you are feeling better.
